We humbly share that a number of freedom fighters from this holy place of Sant Attar Singh Ji actively participated in Pre-Independence Freedom Movement of India. In resultant, the British government forcefully closed this institute for sometime. After Independence, the institute was re-established in 1968 and now this has become one of the premier institutes in this region.To transform his vision into a reality, Akal Group of Institutions has been making excellent endeavours to achieve the desired objectives as :

* To produce youngsters who, along with being skilled professionals can adept to the larger issues of life.

* To reach out to the less privileged and deserving sections of our society and lend a helping hand to them.
